Topics has zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive users. Accounts that post it are removed.
1. Agreement
By creating an account or logging in to Topics you agree to these Terms of Use and to the Community Rules below. If you do not agree, do not use the app. Topics is licensed to you, not sold, for personal non-commercial use on devices you own or control.
2. Community Rules
Topics carries user-generated content: the reading feed shows what other readers finish, the notes they write about it, and the comments readers leave. Everything you post must follow these rules.

No abuse, harassment, threats, or targeting of any person or group.

No hate speech, slurs, or content that demeans people for who they are.

No sexually explicit, violent, or otherwise objectionable content.
·
No spam, scams, impersonation, or attempts to manipulate other readers.
·
No illegal content and nothing that violates a publisher’s rights.
3. Zero tolerance
There is no tolerance for objectionable content or abusive behaviour on Topics. Content that breaks the Community Rules is removed, and the accounts that post it are suspended or deleted permanently. Repeat or severe violations end an account on the first report.
4. Reporting content
Every post and every comment carries a report control (the ··· menu). Reported content is hidden from your feed immediately and is sent to us for review. We act on reports within 24 hours, removing content and ejecting the reader who posted it where the rules were broken.
5. Blocking readers
You can block any reader from the same ··· menu or from their profile. Blocking hides all of their posts and comments from your feed instantly, stops them from appearing anywhere in your app, and notifies us so we can review their account. You can see and undo your blocks in Profile → Blocked accounts.
6. Content you post
You are responsible for what you post and you keep ownership of it. You grant Topics a licence to display it inside the app. We may remove any content, at any time, without notice, if we believe it breaks these terms. Comments are screened for abusive and hateful language before they are published.
7. Third-party articles
Topics links to articles published elsewhere and opens them at their original source. Those publishers own that content and their own terms apply when you read it.
8. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account for any breach of these terms. You can delete your account at any time from Profile → Delete account, which erases your data permanently.
9. No warranty
Topics is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law we are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the app or from content posted by other readers.

Privacy Policy
Apple is not responsible for Topics or its content, and is not a party to this agreement. Apple has no obligation to provide support for the app. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them against you.
