Identify the kind of block
Writer’s block is not one problem. You may lack an idea, a structure, a fact, or confidence in the direction. Naming the problem prevents you from asking for a generic “better draft” when what you need is one small decision.
Ask for questions before paragraphs
Have AI ask you five specific questions about the subject. Answer in fragments. This lowers the pressure to sound finished and gives you material that is connected to your actual experience or research.
Make an intentionally bad outline
Create a rough sequence with placeholders: context, tension, example, implication. The outline only needs to make the next step visible. Once there is a sequence, revision becomes easier than invention.
Take the draft back
Use AI to identify gaps or propose alternatives, then rewrite the passage in your own language. The useful result is momentum and clearer thinking, not a text that could have been written by anyone.
